Magnolia Airport was built with a hard-surface runway in 1953 and enjoyed nine years of airline passenger service to Magnolia Airport which ended in 1962 with the withdrawal of Trans-Texas Airways.
The Airport covers an area of 272 acres at an elevation of 319 feet above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 18/36 with an asphalt surface measuring 5,008 by 100 feet.
